Current Courses at MGCSIILS
Moderator Gladstone CSI Institute of Legal Studies presently offers four undergraduate law programmes and two LL.M specialisations in line with institutional and university norms.
Undergraduate Programmes
B.A LL.B
The B.A LL.B is a comprehensive integrated program combining the study of law with subjects from the humanities such as political science and economics. It is designed to build a strong foundation in legal principles alongside an understanding of social and political systems, preparing students for diverse legal careers.
BBA LL.B
The BBA LL.B program integrates legal education with management and business studies. It equips students with knowledge in accounting, business regulations, and management practices, making it ideal for those aspiring to work in corporate legal sectors and business environments.
B.Com LL.B
The B.Com LL.B program blends legal studies with commerce and finance-related subjects such as accounting, banking, and business. It prepares students for careers in corporate, taxation, and financial legal advisory roles.
Unitary LL.B
The Three-Year LL.B program is designed for graduates from any discipline who wish to pursue a professional career in law. It provides in-depth knowledge of core legal subjects and practical skills required for litigation, judiciary, and other legal professions.
LL.M Specialisations
MGCSIILS offers the following postgraduate law specialisations:
- LL.M Constitutional Law: The LL.M in Constitutional Law is a postgraduate program focusing on the structure, principles, and functioning of constitutional systems. It offers advanced study in fundamental rights, governance, and judicial interpretation, preparing students for academic, research, and policy-oriented roles.
- LL.M Criminology & Penology: This LL.M program specializes in the study of crime, criminal behavior, and the penal system. It explores theories of criminology, correctional administration, and criminal justice policies, equipping students for careers in academia, research, and criminal justice administration.
